What do you do when you can't sleep? Paint of course! The first image is from last summer, which are studies from the wonderful Nathan Fowkes. The second batch is from the early morning, which are also loose studies of Leyendecker, and Clement Coll. It felt good to pick up watercolor (one of my favorite mediums) after so long.
I'm back after a long hiatus of anything art related. I don't have much to show, but I have been going to life drawing these past couple weeks which are hosted at OCAD. These vary from 1 to 15 minute:
Also, some samurai/monk studies... and some Leon-La-Terreur!
I'm really going to try getting back into the groove of things, so expect much more updates.
It has been months since I've used watercolor, so these are my attempts at it after the strike. My old scanner has left out some of the details and color, and each head varies from 10 to 20 minutes!
It has been a very, very unproductive summer. Art-wise. Well, hopefully I'll be pushing August to really be pumping out some stuff (not only quick sketches). So since i haven't done anything fantastic or serious, I have but mere work doodles to offer...
Some blast from the past included in there... good old Miyazaki, Don Bluth, Capcom, and... Dragon,Dragon Ball... Dragon Ball Z!!!!
Quick update because I have been neglecting this baby. Doodles from work, haven't really done anything these past couple weeks. Will update later on...
Tired from the working week, and have a bunch of stuff I need to work on! I watched the Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians over the weekend and doodled while I observed. I must say, I miss the old charms of traditional animation.
